Friends

True friends stab you in the front.
I don't know who the author of this quote is but I would gladly shake his or her hand. These days you never know who is true or not. For years I have dealed with people who I have thought were my friends but then I find out that I can't trust them. It's a terrible feeling and I would never wish it on anyone. I would rather hear the sad truth than a happy lie. I don't like liars and once you lose my trust, you'll never get it back. I think if you call yourself a friend yet you don't act like one then you should be ashamed of yourself. No one's perfect but I would rather have a friend who tells the harsh truth to my face then lies and says the truth behind my back.

  1. What do you think the author means by "stab you in the front?" Maybe they mean that true friends don't do things behind your back and instead come to your face with their issues? I think you should add that in your analysis.
